TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By accepting any estimate, scheduling service, making payment, or permitting work to commence, the customer (“Client”) agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and JR’s Lawn Maintenance LLC (“Contractor”).


1. Right to Refuse Service

1.1 Contractor reserves the absolute right to refuse or discontinue service at any time, for any lawful reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, hazardous conditions, lack of access, nonpayment, or inappropriate conduct by Client or occupants of the property.


2. Deposit Policy

2.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all scheduled services.
2.2 Cancellations or rescheduling within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled service date will result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
2.3 Rescheduling requests made more than seventy-two (72) hours in advance may, at Contractor’s sole discretion and subject to availability, be credited toward a future appointment. Contractor is not obligated to honor such requests.


3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

3.1 All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstance.
3.2 Recurring or maintenance services canceled or rescheduled within seventy-two (72) hours will incur a 
$55 service charge.
3.3 All cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing to: 
info@jrslawnmaintenance.com. Requests are not valid unless confirmed in writing by Contractor.


4. Billing & Payment Terms

4.1 Client authorizes Contractor to charge the payment method on file immediately upon completion of services.
4.2 Client must maintain valid and up-to-date payment information at all times.
4.3 Minor touch-ups must be requested within three (3) calendar days of service completion. Requests beyond this timeframe may result in additional charges.


5. Discounts & Promotions

5.1 Only one (1) discount, promotion, or special offer may be applied per service. Discounts may not be combined.
5.2 Contractor reserves the right to modify or revoke promotions at any time without notice.


6. Warranty Limitations

6.1 Plants & Trees

  • 30-day limited warranty covering defective or improperly installed trees only
  • Warranty applies to materials only (labor, delivery, and additional costs excluded)
  • Warranty void if proper care (watering, fertilization, pest control) is not maintained

6.2 Irrigation Systems

  • 1-year warranty on materials only (labor excluded)

6.3 Artificial Turf

  • 6-month warranty on materials only
  • No coverage for damage caused by reflective heat, magnified sunlight, or extreme temperatures

6.4 Grass Installations

  • No warranty provided

6.5 Landscape Lighting

  • 6-month warranty on materials only


7. Overdue Accounts, Late Fees & Nonpayment

7.1 Unpaid balances will accrue a 5% weekly finance charge until paid in full.
7.2 A 
$15 per day late fee applies to all past-due invoices.
7.3 A 
$35 returned payment fee applies to declined transactions.
7.4 Contractor retains ownership of all installed materials until payment is made in full and reserves the right to remove such materials in the event of nonpayment, without liability.
7.5 Accounts unpaid after five calendar days(5) days may:

  • Have all discounts revoked
  • Be sent to collections
  • Incur additional collection fees, attorney fees, and administrative costs as permitted by law


8. Scope of Work & Liability

8.1 Client affirms they are the property owner or authorized agent.
8.2 Any additional work not included in the original estimate will be billed separately.
8.3 Contractor is not responsible for:

  • Pool cleaning or debris removal from pools
  • Pet waste removal unless enrolled in a paid program
  • Damage caused by improper irrigation, neglect, pests, disease, or environmental factors


9. Access & Site Conditions

9.1 Client is responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the property.
9.2 Contractor is not responsible for delays or inability to complete service due to locked gates, pets, or unsafe conditions.


10. Acceptance of Terms

Client acceptance of an estimate, digital approval, deposit payment, or allowing work to begin constitutes full agreement to these Terms & Conditions.


11. Documentation & Proof of Work

Contractor reserves the right to take before and after photos/videos of the property for documentation, quality control, and dispute resolution purposes.
Client agrees that such documentation serves as valid evidence of work performed and job completion.


12. Property Risk Acknowledgment
Client acknowledges that landscaping services may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to debris displacement, dust, or minor incidental damage.
Contractor shall not be held liable for:

  • Damage to underground utilities not disclosed
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Loose items, decorations, or improperly secured materials
  • Pool contamination during cleanups (dust, leaves, debris)


13. Irrigation & Watering Responsibility
Client is solely responsible for maintaining proper irrigation schedules and ensuring adequate water supply.
Contractor is not responsible for plant, tree, grass, or turf damage resulting from improper watering, system failure, or water restrictions.


14. Service Time Windows
All scheduled service times are approximate arrival windows, not guaranteed appointment times.
Delays may occur due to weather, prior job conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.


15. Weather & Safety Delays
Contractor reserves the right to reschedule services due to unsafe weather conditions, including high winds, rain, or extreme temperatures.
Such delays shall not be considered a breach of contract.


16. Property Access
Client must ensure access to all service areas, including unlocked gates and secured pets.
If access is not provided, Contractor reserves the right to:

  • Skip service
  • Charge a trip fee
  • Reschedule at Client’s expense


17. Estimate Validity
All estimates are valid for seven (7) calendar days unless otherwise stated. Pricing may be subject to change after this period.
